Ashdown Forest Poetry Bathing (Readings)

Siân Thomas, Ashdown Forest Poet in Residence, invites you to a forest-themed poetry reading from her sumptuous book, Ashdown, plus open mic, at The Enchanted Place, the well-known landmark from the Winnie the Pooh stories. You may also be interested in the workshop preceding this event.

Bring your nature-themed poem for the open mic, something to sit on, and a torch in case needed to help guide you on the walk back. Park at Gills Lap car park and meet at the meeting point beside it. There will be a short (five to ten minute) walk from the meeting point to The Enchanted Place.

Please note if the weather is inclement, this event will be postponed.

Venue accessibility: Unfortunately the walk from the car park to The Enchanted Place is over uneven terrain and is therefore not wheelchair-accessible.

Wednesday 18th August. 7:00 – dusk (approx 8:30)
