Ashdown Forest Poetry Bathing (Workshop)

Siân Thomas, Ashdown Forest Poet in Residence, invites you to a forest-themed poetry workshop at The Enchanted Place, the well-known landmark from the Winnie the Pooh stories.

Please bring something to sit on and something to write on as this is an outdoor event. Park at Gills Lap car park and meet at the meeting point beside it. There will be a short (five to ten minute) walk from the meeting point to The Enchanted Place.

Following a short break the workshop will segue into an optional reading and open mic evening with readings from Siân’s book, Ashdown.   If you intend staying for this please consider bringing a torch to help guide your way back to the car park at dusk.

Please note if the weather is inclement, this event will be postponed.

Venue accessibility: Unfortunately the walk from the car park to The Enchanted Place is over uneven terrain and is therefore not wheelchair-accessible.
