Songs of Selves
With Graham Mummery. Aimed at both beginners and advanced writers, this workshop we will look at where poetry comes from in our consciousness. The aim is to access the imagination rather than therapy. It will look at examples from published poems as well as the occasional idea from neuroscience and psychology. There will also be exercises to stimulate your own writing and an opportunity to share what you have written in the group.
Monday 23rd August 7:30 – 9:30pm
