Poets Talk Shop
Where do writers find their inspiration? How do they refine their craft? Who are their influences? How is a blank page transformed into a poem? We can’t guarantee that all – or even any! – of these questions will be answered, but we feel sure the two discussion panels featured in our Tunbridge Wells Forum Wordplay Fun Day on Sunday 22nd August will be lively and entertaining.
No Time to Rhyme: Poetry, Parenting and the Pandemic. Hosted by Natalie Thomas in discussion with poets from Baby Umbrella and local poets Harry Barden and David Smith. (2:15 – 3:15pm approx.)
Poems to Make Life Better: A “Desert Island Poems” panel discussion hosted by Sarah Salway. With Victoria Field and Jon Sayers. (4:15 – 5:15pm approx.)
