Staged Events 2021 (archive)

While offering a variety of workshops and reading events – online and offline – live staged performances are the bedrock on which the festival stands. We offered five major staged events in 2021, details of which can be found below. For details of 2022 events as they are added please refer to the main website menu.

Luke Wright:
An evening with 2021 Saboteur award-winner, Luke Wright. August 19th (7:30pm)

Wordplay Fun Day:
Fun with words, art and music for all the family. August 22nd (2:00 – 5:30pm)

Pam Slam:
A variety evening of humorous verse, music and comedy. Includes an open mic slam event showcasing local spoken word performers. August 22nd (7:30 – 10:00pm)

Remember the Earth Whose Skin You Are:
Powerful performances and original soundscapes celebrating life on planet Earth. With Steve Walter and Roger West. August 24th (8:00pm)

Selfie – The Lockdown Edition:
A year in the life of a lockdownee featuring poetry, prose and live music from Charlie Bell and friends. August 27th (7:30pm)
